Ram slots 1 3 vs 2 4

Feb 25, 2011 · If you look at the picture in the manual it shows slot 1 and 3 populated (gray shaded) in figure 1 and all 4 populated in figure 2. That is for dual channel mode. As I stated, you can try the ram in other slots and it will probably work.

Its dual channel just pair your ram sticks for example if you have 2 sticks of 4gb ddr3 put them both into the blue slots.
